OUR WORKSHOPS

The purpose of the Brickologists Young Engineers program is to introduce theoretical knowledge and practical skills in the areas of mathematics, physics and engineering basics to school children using motorised and pneumatic LEGO and additional means that create and produce energy.

 

The main idea of the program is to demonstrate the scientific principles in an experimental way - through stories, demonstrations and by having fun through building LEGO models. In order to build the models each child receives a kit especially for this purpose. Each school session lasts for 75 minutes.

 

Each school holiday Lego workshop lasts for 2 hours where the children build a motorised model under instruction then play with the model they have built, the next stage is that they move onto enhancing their models with play at all stages.

All of Brickologists Young Engineers programs rationally adopt an Educational, play and a fun approach.

Our Lego workshop sessions and lessons provide theoretical knowledge and practical implementation of this knowledge in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) and the introduction of play using all the above concepts.

Brickologists Young Engineers provides an engaging, hands-on learning platform. The educational goals are achieved by using LEGO® Bricks + play +fun, with curriculums and programs in the use of LEGO Bricks and items in an educational format.

Demonstrating the scientific and mathematical principles in a fun and accessible fashion; combining experiments that form scientific intuition with stories that capture the imagination.

The children build a model that demonstrates the various principles being taught – throughout the courses, they begin to understand processes, physics and mathematics, with other valuable skills which prepare them for Software and Machinery Engineering studies.  The Brickologists team has specially designed the methods and curriculum.
